Professor Andrew John King FRS

My research combines behavioural, electrophysiological, imaging and optogenetic approaches, to study auditory perception in terms of the neural processes that take place in different regions of the brain. I am particularly interested in the neural mechanisms by which the brain adapts to different listening situations or to changes in inputs associated with hearing loss.
